Rock on!~

Today well again, after the exams, I have been looking for things to entertain myself, or something like that.

Awesome.

Till Zach invited me to go jamming with some dudes on friday. Well, he kept inviting me for the last 3 months, but non of us had been free on the same time... Last friday itself was a blast. Rhythmix in SS15 was an awesome studio. Jammed for 2 hours. Total participants where 6, which include Zach(Electric Guitarist), me(Bassist), Paul(Keyboardist), Melvin(Electric Guitarist), Jin Shern(Electric Guitarist), Seng Kiat(drummer). It was a bit chaotic as there were not enough instruments at that time, but it was resolved quickly as to take turns playing, or swap instruments. Man the awesomeness..high is the word.

Then today, bad news was Rhythmix studio was fully booked.. We had to resolve to summit's studio. The standard was not as good as Rhythmix, but it was still a studio though.. This time Kelly Lim came along, as our singer =). We jammed Boston, Slow dancing in a burning room by John Mayer, New Divide by Linkin Park, and others I forgot.. Regret for not taking any videos, but we totally rocked on.. Its awesome to jam with you people, an unforgettable experience. I hope in the future we'll have more of this random jamming session. You guys rock.

And yes, I play the bass guitar, who says I am just a pianist?..

My dream instrument for now.. Ibanez at the least..

Award Awesomeness..

Thursday I skipped school..awesome.. For the first time in my entire life in Seafield, I did not come for 1 day!..lols.. At 8am, my father fetched me and Schaun to Pavilion to receive an award for the top 6 video making competition from Jerneh Insurance partnering with Green Malaysia. Visit jibgreencompetition.jerneh.com.my to find out more.

This prize giving event was held in GSC.. During the waiting session, we were escorted to a gold class lounge.. Lovely.. Right, there were other Seafieldians, in groups, Daniel Zian and Jenerthanen, Marcus Pee, Tracey, Sher Nong, Xi Yuin, Nik Nazneen and 1 girl..

I can't elaborate much about the event, pictures have to say it all. And yet again, I don't fancy taking pictures.. Here's just the overall ranking for Category A(age 16 to 19)

1st prize winner: Daniel Zian and members. Wins RM3000, certificate, a trophy, a camcorder..
2nd prize winner: Nik Nazneen and members. Wins RM2000, certificate, a trophy.
3rd prize winner: Joshua Wong and Schaun Mohan. Wins RM1000, certificate, a trophy.
4th prize winner: not our school
5th prize winner: not our school
6th prize winner: Marcus Pee and members. Wins RM200 and certificate.

I won't say Category B(age 20-23) because it doesn't involve us..if you're intrigued to view their videos, juz go to the website and click shortlists, and download the videos. My video is listed as Schaun Mohan. The best part doesn't end here, latest by Ramadan, Jerneh is going to call up the top 3 winners from each category and will be interviewed live on tv, and shots for cover magazine, I don't know what magazine.. Newspaper will be out too..

Here are some shots I took for fun during the event..

But then again, here's the video produced and directed by me, myself and I. Schaun provided a little inspiration.
